Dixon Ward and Special Guests
Join former NHL’er Dixon Ward and other pro players for a 5-day camp that will improve your tactical skills; enhancing your in game performance. This unique camp focuses on advanced concepts and instruction that will benefit elite level players.
*Players should be playing at AA/Tier 2 level or higher.
**Registrations will be reviewed for this camp.
The camp will focus on teaching skills that directly correlate to hockey IQ, helping you to make the right decision at the right time
WHAT WE FOCUS ON:
- Understanding situational play:
- How to play in the Ozone with the puck and without the puck
- How to play in the Dzone with the puck and without the puck
- Utilizing your body and stick position to create scoring chances
- Gaining position to win puck battles
- How to create time and space
WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE:
- 2.5 hours of ice per day
- Daily strength and conditioning instruction
- Classroom/video teaching sessions
- Daily skills session in off ice Skills Centre
