HEATHER PERRIN NAMED ASSISTANT GM OF OHA PENTICTON.

OHA PENTICTON GENERAL MANAGER SCOTT MAY ANNOUNCED TODAY THAT HEATHER PERRIN HAS BEEN NAMED THE ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER OF OHA PENTICTON.

Heather has been a key part of the OHA Leadership team for the past eight years in her role as the Director of Athletic Therapy and Medical Services. In her new role as Assistant GM, Heather will be responsible for aligning the three main departments within the academy – Athletic Therapy, Strength & Conditioning and Hockey Operations.

Her tenure at OHA has given her the knowledge and a perspective of the operation that allows us to find ways to be more efficient and increase the overall experience for our student-athletes. Aligning our 3 main divisions, Athletic Therapy, Strength & Conditioning & Hockey Operations will be the first step to ensuring our students-athletes are getting the best opportunity to grow, develop and succeed at OHA.” Scott May

Perrin completed her Bachelor of Science majoring in Kinesiology at the University of Lethbridge and her Advanced Certificate of Athletic Therapy at Mount Royal College. Perrin started working full time hockey in 2009 and has since been a team therapist in a number of leagues and programs including the JWHL, KIJHL, CSSHL, Team Alberta and Hockey Canada.

Joining Hockey Canada in 2010, Perrin has worked at every level with the Canadian National Women’s Hockey Team, most recently serving as Team Therapist for the 2018 Olympic Team that won silver in PyeongChang, South Korea.

With Heather’s knowledge and insight into the OHA operations, she will be instrumental in increasing operational efficiencies, collaboration between departments and increasing the overall experience for our staff and student-athletes alike.
