OHA is happy to announce that Paul Bisnauth will be joining the OHA Leadership team as the Head of Strength and Conditioning. The OHA leadership team will play a critical role in the day-to-day operations of the Academy and the development of all student-athletes.

Bisnauth graduated from Brock University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, before earning his post-grad certificate in Exercise Science for Health and Performance from Niagara College. Paul is an NSCA- Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist as well as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CSEP).

As a coach, Paul has worked with athletes and teams at the high school, collegiate, and professional levels.

Prior to joining OHA Penticton, Paul was the Strength Coach and Head of Speed Development at the Iron Performance Center. During his time there, he developed and implemented strength, speed, and conditioning programs to deliver optimal training for national-level, collegiate, and professional athletes, and teams. His role included collaborating with Integrated Support Teams in the development and implementation of return-to-performance programs for athletes recovering from injury.

In his next role, Paul held the position of Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Mind to Muscle. During that time, he collaborated with sports teams and coaches to develop and implement sport science and training programs. Paul collected and applied performance data to design and influence training programs for teams and individual athletes.

“We are excited to add Paul to the OHA team to take on a major role within our S&C department as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. Paul’s background as a collegiate athlete in baseball and track, along with his previous work in the hockey field training teams, has given him the knowledge and experience to best prepare our student-athletes. Paul’s passion and enthusiasm will have a positive impact on our program, the S&C department, and most importantly our youth.” Scott May

Paul’s goals are to assist student-athletes in their pursuit of excellence, foster a positive training environment, and make a meaningful impact by providing tools that will last a lifetime.

“I’m excited to join the staff at OHA. I’m looking forward to contributing to a positive culture and aim to assist each student-athlete in their pursuit of excellence, in all that they do.”
