THE MULTI-JUNIOR PROSPECTS SHOWCASE IS A PRE-SEASON SHOWCASE AND EXPOSURE EVENT, HOSTED IN DENVER, COLORADO, OPEN TO U18 (2007-2009) PLAYERS CURRENTLY PLAYING AT THE AA/AAA LEVEL OR EQUIVALENT. ALL REGISTRATIONS WILL BE REVIEWED TO MAINTAIN A HIGH LEVEL OF PLAY.

Attending the U18 Western Prospects Showcase can provide several benefits for young hockey players who aspire to succeed at the next level. Here are some of the benefits of attending the showcase:

WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE:
When attending the U18 Western prospects showcase, participants can expect to receive the following:
1. WHL combine testing session:
Participants will have the opportunity to undergo on and off-ice combine testing, which includes various physical tests to assess their athletic abilities. The results of the testing will be provided to participants, allowing them to compare their performance against others in the showcase.
2. Combine results sent to WHL teams and scouts:
The combine results will be shared with all Western Hockey League (WHL) teams and scouts, increasing the exposure of participants and potentially attracting interest from professional teams.
3. Seminars on hockey futures and scouting:
The showcase includes seminars where participants can learn about the future of hockey and what teams and scouts typically look for in players. These sessions provide valuable insights into the scouting process and can help players understand what it takes to succeed at higher levels of the game.
4. Souvenir showcase jersey: Participants will receive a showcase jersey as a memento of their participation in the event.
5. 1-on-1 exit interview:
At the end of the showcase, participants will have the opportunity to have a 1-on-1 interview with event organizers or scouts. This interview allows participants to receive personalized feedback and guidance on their performance during the showcase.
6. Guaranteed 5 games:
Each participant is guaranteed to play in five showcase games, providing ample opportunity to showcase their skills and compete against other talented players.
7. Daily pre-game team meetings: Participants will attend pre-game team meetings, where coaches will discuss strategies, game plans, and provide guidance to the players.
8. Player of the Game awards: Throughout the showcase, Player of the Game awards will be given out to recognize outstanding individual performances. This can be a great honor and an opportunity to stand out among the participants.
9. Chance to participate in the end-of-week Top 40 game:
Select participants may have the opportunity to participate in a top-tier game at the end of the week, featuring the best performers from the showcase. This game provides additional exposure and recognition for standout players.
It’s important to note that the showcase is not a fully supervised camp, and participants are responsible for their own nutritional needs.
